Michael G. Bowen

Michael Bowen is a co-founder of Bourdow, Bowen & Ellis, P.C. Mr. Bowen practices primarily in the areas of business, tax and litigation. He has extensive experience in all areas of business and tax matters, including choice of business entity as well as representing business clients for all their legal needs, plus handling tax return preparation of all kinds, and settlement of disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and the Virginia Department of Taxation.  He is a member in good standing of the Virginia Bar Association and the Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all state courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Court, United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Mr. Bowen received both his undergraduate degree and his law degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He moved to Virginia in May of 1986, and was admitted to practice law in Virginia in September of 1986. After a brief stint with Touche Ross & Co. in downtown Richmond, Mr. Bowen established the firm of Bourdow & Bowen, P.C. with Ms. Bourdow in September of 1987.
